Camp Hours

Regular Camp Hours: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Extended Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We offer extended camp hours or bus transportation from certain neighboring towns. Extended camp hours or bus transportation fees are not included in the camp tuition or discounts.

Tardy Campers

If your child comes to camp late, you must come up to the office and sign your child in to camp. Once this is done, we will take your child and escort him/her to their camp group.

Early Dismissal of Campers

If you need to dismiss your child early on a particular day, please send a note to your child’s camp counselor and the office. In this way, your child can be prepared to leave at the appointed time. When you come in to pick up your child, please come up to the office. You will need to sign your child out of camp for the day. Parents are required to show proper identification when signing their children out of camp.

Extended Late Fees

If you pick up your child/children after the end of our extended day program (5:30 p.m.) or after the end of our regular camp hours (3:30 p.m. for those not registered for extended day) you will be charged a late pick up fee, per child. The late fee money collected will help to defray the cost incurred by keeping the program open. Payment for late pick up will be due at the time of the pick-up. Parents are required to show proper identification and sign camper(s) out of camp with the extended day supervisor at the front desk.

The late fees are as follows:
$1.00 for each additional minute late, per child.

Dismissing Children To People Other Than A Parent Or Guardian

During dismissal of a camper at Cedardale/Groveland Summer Day Camp by someone other than the parent/guardian, Identification will be requested. Children will not be dismissed to any individual other than a parent/guardian without written permission of the parent/guardian. The Director and/or office staff may call the parent/guardian for permission to dismiss a child. Please notify us in writing if there is someone that your child should not be released to. Written authorization is needed each time someone other than the parent/guardian is picking up your child/children.

Please make sure the authorized person picking up your child/children  knows that they are required to show proper identification and sign the camper(s) out of camp with the extended day supervisor at the front desk.
